Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I submit my request?
Your request will be reviewed by staff prior to being scheduled. Someone from our team may reach out to request additional information or provide alternate dates/times if the requested date/time is not available. Once your meeting has been scheduled, you will receive a confirmation including a TEAMS link to virtually join your meeting.
What do I need to provide?
To get the most out of your First Step meeting, provide as much information as possible about your project, such as a site survey, plans of the existing site or a sketch of your proposed development. There are no specific requirements for materials you need to provide but the more information you give us the better!
What information will I receive?
City staff will provide you basic information to help you get your project started. During the meeting we will walk you through the permitting process and identify project design concerns or other needs. By meeting with all city representatives at one time you can save time and be sure that you and the City are on the same page. You will be provided meeting notes and next steps.
