A Very GNV Holiday Parade 2024

Bring the family to downtown Gainesville on Saturday, Dec. 7 for A Very GNV Holiday Parade! Starting at noon, enjoy floats, dancers, live bands, and a special appearance by basketball legend and parade grand marshal — Shaquille O'Neal! Kick off the holiday season in style as Shaq leads the way down West University Avenue. Be sure to stick around after the parade for a variety of family-friendly activities the whole community can enjoy.

The holiday parade is Saturday, Dec. 7 and leads into the holiday dance party and lights celebration. These events are free and open to the public.

Photos and video will be taken throughout the event. The City of Gainesville will use these images to promote and celebrate the parade on the website, in printed materials, for social media and award applications.
