MTPO Long-Range Transportation Plan Workshop

The MTPO is hosting a public workshop for the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). A Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is a federally required document that outlines the region’s transportation vision, goals, and investment priorities for a 25-year horizon. The 2050 LRTP will serve as a roadmap for transportation investments, focusing on enhancing mobility safety and maintaining infrastructure for different modes of transportation, such as bikes, pedestrians, transit, and automobiles. It sets priorities for transportation infrastructure projects to support future growth and community transportation needs of all users of Gainesville and Alachua County.
