Kick off the "Summer (You)th Celebration!" with art exhibits, film screenings and fun at the Cotton Club Museum & Cultural Center on Saturday, July 27 from 1 – 4 p.m. This event features works by curator and artist Yvonne Ferguson, filmmaker MyQueal Lewis and Dream on Purpose. Savor light refreshments as you explore the exhibits and meet the artists.
This event is brought to you by One Nation One Project GNV, the City of Gainesville, Arts for EveryBody and our community partners. Arts for EveryBody is a collaboration with artists, civic leaders and community health providers from 18 cities across America, who will premiere large-scale participatory art projects on July 27. These projects draw on their communities' sounds, styles and stories under the theme "no place like home".
