Summer (You)th Celebration!

Celebrate summer with performances by Wé Ani (American Idol, The Voice, Apollo Amateur Night) and special guest Wendell Pierce, TV, film and Broadway star (Suits, The Wire, Raising Kanan). Enjoy music, dance, theater, spoken word and art. Savor delicious food from the trucks, create TikTok videos, and cool off with free SONIC Slushes® and cold water.

The evening will also feature performances by Austin Paul Jr. (FAMU, Alicia Keys' saxophonist), Smooth Flava dancers, Star Center Theater, Who's In The Box (Unplugged), artist Yvonne Ferguson and the HeART Wall ribbon cutting.

The winners of the Apollo Talent Search will also be announced!

This event is brought to you by One Nation One Project GNV, the City of Gainesville, Arts for EveryBody and our community partners. Arts for EveryBody is a collaboration with artists, civic leaders and community health providers from 18 cities across America, who will premiere large-scale participatory art projects on July 27. These projects draw on their communities' sounds, styles and stories under the theme "no place like home".
