You’re invited to participate in an informative and collaborative event at our upcoming public meeting featuring the City of Gainesville’s Vulnerability Assessment and development of an Adaptation Plan to address future flooding issues.

What to expect:
  • Overview of what Florida defines as a critical asset and what assets have been identified in Gainesville.
  • What methods are being used to predict flooding resulting from future rainfall conditions.
  • How a system for ranking the severity of impact to critical assets is being developed.
  • How focus areas, which are areas or assets that are particularly vulnerable and require the development of adaptation strategies, are identified and addressed.
Why attend:
  • Opportunity to contribute to Gainesville’s future resilience.
  • Let your voice be heard; provide input on Gainesville’s Adaptation Plan.
