Low temperatures are expected to range from 27 to 32 degrees, with wind chills dropping into the 20s. Residents are encouraged to take steps to protect people, pets, plants and pipes.

Inspections of new commercial buildings after one year of occupancy, periodic inspections of existing commercial structures, as well as the inspection of occupancies presenting potential safety concerns fall within the objectives of the Risk Reduction Bureau. Fire Safety Inspectors also assist with fire investigations, issue fireworks permits and construction-related burn permits, review neighbor complaints and respond to inquiries.
