A permit can be applied for online, by email, mail, or in-person. Once the permit application has been submitted and paid for, the applicant will be notified by email whether their permit is issued and available to print through PermitGNV or whether their application requires plan review. If plan review is required then the applicant will be sent a link via email from our e-plan review site, Projectdox, prompting them to upload their plans for review.
For questions regarding permitting, please contact the Building Division. It is best to have a written scope of work available to better explain the proposed project, so our staff can properly assist. If you would like to view existing permits or other available public records, please visit our PermitGNV portal.
