“Lend Me Your Ears Gainesville” is a compilation by youth playwrights from the Alachua Academy and Project YouthBuild, designed to promote understanding and healing about the impacts of gun violence.

The monologues are performed by professional actors and were developed in collaboration with The Hippodrome Theatre Education Department, We the People Theater, and the River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding.

The production is funded, in part, by One Nation One Project GNV, the City of Gainesville’s local take on a national initiative to improve youth health and wellbeing through the arts.
