The City of Gainesville’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department, in association with the Public Recreation and Park Board, Nature Centers Commission, Gainesville Art in Public Places Trust and Gainesville Cultural Affairs Board presented the 2023 Community Excellence Awards at the Historic Thomas Center in a ceremony on March 7, 2024.
