Dwight H. Hunter Pool is home to the area’s swim teams and a great place to spend time in the water for all. It is a Full-featured swimming facility, including lap lanes, super-shallow section (1.5ft – 4ft), splash pad, diving boards, access ramp, lift and stairs. Our professionally trained staff will ensure you have a great time at the pool.

This park pool pays tribute to Dwight H. Hunter, a past City of Gainesville Recreation Director. He was also a school principal and served on the Recreation Advisory Board. He was a dedicated civic leader and he devoted his career to the betterment of the youth in our community.
