Kiwanis Challenge Park

This spacious park and playground area was funded by the Kiwanis Club and is specially designed to be accessible for visitors in wheelchairs. Kids of all abilities will enjoy the play areas decked out in Gator colors of orange and blue. The main playstructure is designed for kids aged 5-12 and is accessible by ramps for those in wheelchairs. Accessibility is also provided from the parking lot to the playstructure and restrooms.

There is a newly resurfaced track with bleachers, and open fields for additional recreational fun. This family park also sports basketball courts for a quick game of Pick-up. Hang out in the pavilion that provides shade and shelter from the Florida sun and afternoon rain showers. Take advantage of the picnic table area; complete with grills for your cook-out.  Dogs on leashes are welcome.

Kiwanis Challenge Park is found around the corner from Green Tree Park.  From NW 39th Avenue, turn south on NW 19th Street, past Green Tree Park and then turn right on NW 36th Avenue. The entrance and parking lot are to the right.
