Holiday Schedule

There will be a one day delay in collection services for the remainder of the week for the following remaining scheduled holidays in 2024:

  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 28, 2024
  • Christmas Day - Wednesday, December 25, 2024

There will be a one day delay in collection services for the remainder of the week for the following scheduled holidays in 2025:

  • New Years Day - Wednesday, January 1, 2025
  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Monday, January 20, 2025
  • Memorial Day - Monday, May 26, 2025
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 27, 2025
  • Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25, 2025

If your collection day occurs on or after one of the Scheduled Holidays listed above, your collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of that week following that holiday. ***For example, on a week with a Monday Scheduled Holiday, Tuesday's collections will occur on Wednesday, Wednesday's collections on Thursday, and Thursday's collections on Friday.

If a holiday is NOT listed as a Scheduled Holiday above, services will occur as scheduled on your normal collection day.

City Office Closures for 2024

City offices, including the Solid Waste Division, will be closed and unable to answer phone calls on the following remaining holidays in 2024:

  • Veterans' Day - Monday, November 11, 2024 (No change in collection schedules this week)
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 28, 2024 (Collections delayed a day for Thursday collections only) 
  • Christmas Day - Wednesday, December 25, 2024 (Collections delayed a day for Wednesday & Thursday collections)

City Office Closures for 2025

  • Juneteenth - Thursday, June 19, 2025 (No change in collection schedules this week)
  • Independence Day - Friday, July 4, 2025 (No change in collection schedules this week)
  • Labor Day - Monday, September 1, 2025 (No change in collection schedules this week)
  • Veterans' Day - Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (No change in collection schedules this week)
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Collections delayed a day for Thursday collections only)
  • Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25, 2025 (Collections delayed a day for Thursday collections only)
